Dante Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Billberg in the 17th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Flodde CFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Billberg came free, but Dante Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ola Norberg's late challenge caught a Flodde CFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ola Norberg helped the player get up and apologised. Jens-Ola Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ivan Billberg in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lundberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dante Lundberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Billberg in the 29th minute. In the 38th minute, Jörn Hermansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Flodde CFC booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Erik Ingemarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Flodde CFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Henric Ahlroht hit a great ball. When Georg Tinglöv came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Flodde CFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Tinglöv couldn't finish the play. Dante Lundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Billberg in the 82nd minute of play. Jörn Hermansson scored 2-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lundberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
