Pedro Luís Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Ersman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Valdemar Åberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Marzagão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdemar Åberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SSC Ambrosini reached it. After a rather tough play, SSC Ambrosini's Torsten Soned got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SSC Ambrosini fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when SSC Ambrosini's Valdemar Åberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as SSC Ambrosini's Joel Forssell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Luís Fernandez. That made the score 1-7 after 97 minutes of play. SSC Ambrosini played a much better game than Marzagão and deserved their victory. The Marzagão players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
