Toni Nenchev might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukasz Traczewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toni Nenchev ran back to his position shaking his head. When Toni Nenchev came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the DARAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Nenchev couldn't finish the play. Toni Nenchev hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Toni Nenchev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lukasz Traczewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gonzo Ivanov sped through Modlau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lukasz Traczewski. Vute Baliev made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Fabian Smolarek sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Modlau's corner Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vute Baliev quite easily take care of the ball. Modlau's Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Modlau's goalkeeper Lukasz Traczewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lukasz Traczewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzo Ivanov came free, but Lukasz Traczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toni Nenchev to strike the kick off in the second half. Vute Baliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatin Ibrahimović, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Gonzo Ivanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukasz Traczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Modlau's Lukasz Traczewski got control of the ball when Toni Nenchev tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Gonzo Ivanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Lukasz Traczewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Modlau's Stefan Sidorowicz was substituted for Fabian Smolarek. DARAS's Paolo Rossi was substituted for Toni Nenchev. After a defensive mix-up in Modlau's zone, Paolo Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukasz Traczewski came out of the goal and Paolo Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DARAS's Volodya Biradzhiev got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute Kelaino Mbappè shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vute Baliev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Volodya Biradzhiev got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Modlau booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 minutes, Paolo Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DARAS and the Modlau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Paolo Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rdth minute of the game Gonzo Ivanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Modlau's Lukasz Traczewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Gonzo Ivanov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lukasz Traczewski. Modlau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzo Ivanov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Paolo Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DARAS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
