Marco Dias ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Marco Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ≮王者归来≯News at 11 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Gonçalo Coelho with Naohiro Takahara as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Perivaldo Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minotauro's supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernani Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Toscano in the 17th minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Rafael Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Dias in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Dias in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Paraíba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Paraíba came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by ≮王者归来≯News at 11's Marco Dias. But to his dismay, Marco Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Minotauro's Rafael Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Dias in the 30th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯News at 11's goalkeeper Ernani Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Léo Cardozo. After some careless play in the Minotauro defense, Marco Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Paraíba. The Minotauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Paraíba should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Dias in the 45th minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Rafael Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felippe Donatello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Kiko Proença got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Domingues in the 69th minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Rafael Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glauco Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Rafael Paraíba made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Glauco Abraão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Paraíba. Minotauro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Glauco Abraão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7.
