In the 3rd minute, Wim Valkeneers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match U21 Albania got a corner. Dibra Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erald Spahiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to U21 Albania's Gjergji Tedori getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 14 minutes into the match, U21 Albania's Gjergji Tedori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lilko Chervenski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frai Shehu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Lilko Chervenski made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Frai Shehu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lilko Chervenski. The goal made the score 1-0. After some careless play in the U21 Albania defense, Ermanno Bergamini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Parid Veliaj. The U21 Albania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Parid Veliaj should have stopped the shot. Frai Shehu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Gjergji Tedori lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Lilko Chervenski. Lek Kasapi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Dibra Fc's Lilko Chervenski got control of the ball when Gjergji Tedori tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hazbi Cane kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Tedj Akrour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erald Spahiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Dibra Fc's Tedj Akrour got a free kick in the 41st minute. Lilko Chervenski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frai Shehu went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Parid Veliaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Hénin in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
51 minutes into the match, U21 Albania's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Hénin came free, but Parid Veliaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 51st minute, Sefedin Gjyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U21 Albania's Parid Veliaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Bergamini in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, U21 Albania's Parid Veliaj got control of the ball when Gooitzen Bot tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for U21 Albania! Parid Veliaj had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Kleant Skela's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 60 minutes into the match, U21 Albania's Lek Kasapi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lilko Chervenski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Parid Veliaj didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. After a rather tough play, U21 Albania's Lek Kasapi got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Dhori Zhobro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Albania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dhori Zhobro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Dibra Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Frai Shehu came free, but Lilko Chervenski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dhori Zhobro made a great header on U21 Albania's corner, it was just that Dibra Fc's Lilko Chervenski managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dhori Zhobro during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to U21 Albania getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sefedin Gjyle hit a great ball. The supporters of U21 Albania booed when Dibra Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gooitzen Bot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, U21 Albania's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Bergamini came free, but Parid Veliaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dibra Fc's Ermanno Bergamini got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Dhori Zhobro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilko Chervenski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dibra Fc's Marin Hénin got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Dibra Fc got a freekick which was hit by Arvo Pilvik. In the 96th minute of the match Lek Kasapi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lilko Chervenski skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The U21 Albania fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dibra Fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
