In the 4th minute, Brickeen Wall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Pierre Chappelle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bine Šercelj was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 16th minute, Val Farrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bine Šercelj was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Bine Šercelj didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Val Farrell went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Brkić in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Lowery saved S.D. Bajen from getting behind. After 26 minutes, Claudio Brkić made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. S.D. Bajen's Ramiro Lowery tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Claudio Brkić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Znadimir Tancek kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Bine Šercelj made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre Chappelle in the 41st minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Val Farrell to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of S.D. Bajen booed when FC Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velimir Mulec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bine Šercelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre Chappelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes, Luka Saje mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Koper and the S.D. Bajen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luka Saje kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Donovan Hewitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Brkić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 minutes, Brickeen Wall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.D. Bajen and the FC Koper players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Brickeen Wall got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 88th match minute, FC Koper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Znadimir Tancek to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Monroe Russell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Lowery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Saje, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The S.D. Bajen players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
