JURIDIQUES F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Eger ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Luisinho Seco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Eger got free with Alfredinho Cordeiro in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredinho Cordeiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelo Eger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 48 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Eger made a kick off. Alfredinho Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Sarmento in the 53rd minute of the match.
