Thanks to some nice moves Ricky Eiby could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Björn Ekegren however easily saved by the left post. After 35 minutes of play SSC Ambrosini's Hans Bergqvist was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Ricky Eiby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Jann Sparegodt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Ekegren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 45 minutes, Halfdan Wøldike mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holmkjar Hotspurs and the SSC Ambrosini players grew even worse after the yellow card. Halfdan Wøldike hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Björn Ekegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halfdan Wøldike. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jann Sparegodt to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Holmkjar Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Forssell came free, but Ejvin Vigbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Ekegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helmuth Mannsmeier, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Ricky Eiby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
