In the 10th minute, David Banegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarbas Quadros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Turgut Soyuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Turgut Soyuer got free with Jorge Armani in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Turgut Soyuer managed to get in a good position for a shot. PREZULO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Turgut Soyuer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Armani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Calvino came free, but Jarbas Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarbas Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Dalli in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Turgut Soyuer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Armani was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Jorge Armani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Turgut Soyuer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Armani having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 47th minute of play forced Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Jorge Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Turgut Soyuer made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Turgut Soyuer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PREZULO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With a little luck, PREZULO FC's Jarbas Quadros got control of the ball when Devidatta Vendetta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Otto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Armani having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turgut Soyuer in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Armani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 minutes of play, PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Armani was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Esmeralda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Turgut Soyuer came free, but Jorge Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PREZULO FC's Betão de Brito was substituted for Saulão Chettle. PREZULO FC's He Xiao was substituted for Jonathan Otto. PREZULO FC's Isaac Ferreira was substituted for Turgut Soyuer. Betão de Brito scored 5-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Armani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Esmeralda AFC booed when PREZULO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Jobo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
