The supporters of Holy Cross Mountains booed when Buzarda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Garci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Stroescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Kihlman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Mario Valery hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Albert Booth kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Leonardo Kihlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Stroescu in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Valery came free, but Guy Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pablo Cesario fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buzarda FC's protests and gave Pablo Cesario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Buzarda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Cesario to maneuver through the defense. Buzarda FC's Leonardo Kihlman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Buzarda FC from getting a goal against them. Leonardo Kihlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Stroescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Garci came free, but Guy Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Valery's late challenge caught a Holy Cross Mountains's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Valery helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Mario Valery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horea Decuseară was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Reynaldo Mede made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Kihlman. Buzarda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Franz Stonehouse kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Franz Stonehouse hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Leonardo Kihlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Stroescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 79th minute Pedro Shields shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Kihlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's Horea Decuseară sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Kihlman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, one of Holy Cross Mountains:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Holy Cross Mountains. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Buzarda FC's Saturnino Garci got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Guy Davis. Buzarda FC's Leonardo Kihlman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Decuseară in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
