But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Cordero couldn't finish the play. When Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gianluca Vialli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Nicolás DAndrea made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Chabier came free, but Loco De la Maza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loco De la Maza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Catranides in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Damaso Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Urbano Shantala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falckner FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Ángel Gris the free kick. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Urbano Shantala got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Urbano Shantala was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. The supporters of Defensores del Ángel Gris booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Shantala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Cordero in the 27th minute of the match. When Defensores del Ángel Gris's Serafim Catranides in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falckner FC's goalie prevented a goal. Nicolás DAndrea made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Gianluca Vialli sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Ciempa to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Severino Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás DAndrea having to interfere. Serafim Catranides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Loco De la Maza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Rene Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco De la Maza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Desiderio Macias got a free kick in the 61st minute. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Inge came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Gianluca Vialli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás DAndrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Falckner FC's zone, Rene Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loco De la Maza came out of the goal and Rene Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolás DAndrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Vialli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falckner FC were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Defensores del Ángel Gris's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gianluca Vialli took the corner. Serafim Catranides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Mauro Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gianluca Vialli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolás DAndrea. Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 94 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Ciempa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Catranides in the 96th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Falckner FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Defensores del Ángel Gris for much of the match.
