Genílson Loyola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Marquez in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genílson Loyola saved A Veces Menos Es Mas from getting behind. Fedele Causio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, A Veces Menos Es Mas's Fedele Causio got a free kick in the 20th minute. Genílson Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Genílson Loyola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Olof Sjöberg went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Jonas Loco hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Marciano Lekubegi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Lekubegi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for A Veces Menos Es Mas! Arnaldo Marquez took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genílson Loyola. Genílson Loyola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 37 minutes into the match, A Veces Menos Es Mas's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Marquez came free, but Genílson Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genílson Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Pellen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by A Veces Menos Es Mas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marciano Lekubegi was slow to take the kick. During this time Candelaria FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Candelaria FC's corner Bart Pellen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Genílson Loyola quite easily take care of the ball. A Veces Menos Es Mas's Genílson Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Marquez in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Candelaria FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Marquez was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Olof Sjöberg got free with Genílson Loyola in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnaldo Marquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Genílson Loyola made a huge save. In the 56th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabastian Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in A Veces Menos Es Mas's zone, Arnaldo Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genílson Loyola came out of the goal and Arnaldo Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Bonifaco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacharias Iosifakis went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Marquez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Genílson Loyola, 1-5. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Okanalp Özdil replaced Sven-Olof Sjöberg. Candelaria FC's Antonio Alzamendi was substituted for Arnaldo Marquez. Candelaria FC's Timoteo Michael was substituted for Christian Gómez. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacharias Iosifakis in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Bonifaco saved Candelaria FC from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacharias Iosifakis came free, but Tomás Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to A Veces Menos Es Mas getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Cipriano Senen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Michael in the 77th minute of play forced A Veces Menos Es Mas's goalkeeper Genílson Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Timoteo Michael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Genílson Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. In the 86th minute, Cipriano Senen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's Marciano Lekubegi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genílson Loyola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A Veces Menos Es Mas's Genílson Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Michael in the 90th minute of play. Genílson Loyola stood somewhat misplaced when Okanalp Özdil came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 95 minute. When the match was over Candelaria FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than A Veces Menos Es Mas throughout the match.
