Ariel Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ariel Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Beto Márcico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's supporters rose to their feet, but Beto Márcico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After having played for 36 minutes, Beto Márcico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Márcico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Furtado scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Ponc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Villa Mitre City's Mauricio Macías was substituted for Arsenio Maria. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beto Márcico was the one to do the kick off. Ariel Ponc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beto Márcico's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Villa Mitre City booed when Asesinos Por Naturaleza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Bertol hit a great ball. Mauricio Macías, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After taking down the ball on Villa Mitre City's corner Mauricio Macías fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matias Ceandro quite easily take care of the ball. If Mauricio Macías had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matias Ceandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Macías in the 79th minute of play. When Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Felipe Ralondo in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa Mitre City's goalie prevented a goal. Felipe Ralondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Ponc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Leon Maldonado quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Urbano Mendiko, made in the 86th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Esteve Nerio got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 89 minutes of play, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Felipe Ralondo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Ponc was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Macías in the 92nd minute of play forced Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goalkeeper Matias Ceandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Mendiko made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Imam Sarwono immediately put the ball in play. The Asesinos Por Naturaleza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Asesinos Por Naturaleza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
