After taking down the ball on Candelaria FC's corner Okanalp Özdil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Svetlozar Karamihov quite easily take care of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goal looked a bit too open when Okanalp Özdil came free, but Svetlozar Karamihov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svetlozar Karamihov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okanalp Özdil in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Bladi came free, but Tomás Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Big Babousa booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Hector Bladi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Bonifaco was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Big Babousa defense, Okanalp Özdil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svetlozar Karamihov. The Big Babousa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svetlozar Karamihov should have stopped the shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Marquez to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okanalp Özdil in the 66th minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Svetlozar Karamihov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svetlozar Karamihov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Big Babousa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Gómez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Christian Gómez took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Svetlozar Karamihov. Svetlozar Karamihov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, Big Babousa's Dario Costante got a free kick in the 90th minute. Hector Bladi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Bonifaco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Candelaria FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
