In the 17th minute Okanalp Özdil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wieslaw Bielejewski made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gregorio Elixio immediately put the ball in play. In the 25th minute, Okanalp Özdil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okanalp Özdil in the 27th minute of play forced NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Okanalp Özdil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho Taffarel was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's zone, Okanalp Özdil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Okanalp Özdil made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Claudinho Taffarel got control of the ball when Okanalp Özdil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustaquio Maldonado hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Candelaria FC's Sven-Olof Sjöberg was substituted for Antonio Alzamendi. Candelaria FC's Bart Pellen was substituted for Jefferson de Sena. NANANANA LIIIDEER FC made a substitution. Amador Hartz replaced Gavino Gabino. Candelaria FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
