Karl-Johan Ahlqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Librado hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute of the match Sebastian Enekoitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loco De la Maza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianluca Vialli in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Johan Ahlqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gianluca Vialli. Sebastián Cassin charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastián Cassin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute Davor Šuker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco De la Maza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Damaso Inge got a free kick in the 38th minute. Davor Šuker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gianluca Vialli to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Damaso Inge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falckner FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Rose 1979 the free kick. Black Rose 1979's Hernan Florin was substituted for Gerardo Hitz. Damaso Inge hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Black Rose 1979's Sebastian Enekoitz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Falckner FC. In the 61st minute, Éder Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davor Šuker in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loco De la Maza saved Falckner FC from getting behind. With his leg Loco De la Maza managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Black Rose 1979's Davor Šuker fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Black Rose 1979 were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Falckner FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastian Enekoitz took the corner. In the 72nd minute Gianluca Vialli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Gabrio's late challenge caught a Black Rose 1979's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Loco De la Maza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Enzo-Nicolás Pérez got a free kick in the 95th minute. Gaspar Baraquiel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Falckner FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Black Rose 1979's performance. The match ended with a win for Black Rose 1979.
