Karl-Johan Ahlqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davor Šuker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Svetlozar Karamihov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Big Babousa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dario Costante in the 20th minute. Claudio Millano made a great header on Big Babousa's corner, it was just that Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. Davor Šuker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svetlozar Karamihov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Big Babousa's Wieslaw Ciborek got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Bladi in the 36th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Davor Šuker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svetlozar Karamihov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Hitz to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Davor Šuker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Svetlozar Karamihov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Karl-Johan Ahlqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 77 played minutes Big Babousa got a freekick which was hit by Odilon Bacete. Big Babousa made a substitution. Tiburcio Llorienzo replaced Gandalf Thunderchief. A collision led to Big Babousa getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Odilon Bacete hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rick Sánchez got free with Karl-Johan Ahlqvist in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Karl-Johan Ahlqvist throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rick Sánchez in the 83rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Lisandro Vigil kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Big Babousa's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hector Bladi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Big Babousa players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Black Rose 1979 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
