In the 15th match minute, Defensores del Ángel Gris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Chabier to maneuver through the defense. Candelaria FC's Marciano Lekubegi got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Marquez notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea. Nicolás DAndrea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 35 played minutes Defensores del Ángel Gris got a freekick which was hit by Gabi Golanski. Braulio Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Okanalp Özdil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolás DAndrea was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Nicolás DAndrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Marquez in the 42nd minute of the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafim Catranides was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Okanalp Özdil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Okanalp Özdil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Defensores del Ángel Gris fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Nicolás DAndrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Nicolás DAndrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Marquez in the 69th minute of the match. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Clemente Gorbea quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jefferson de Sena, made in the 73rd minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Marquez came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bart Pellen struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Nicolás DAndrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Nicolás DAndrea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Sven-Olof Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás DAndrea having to interfere. Nicolas Silveira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. A collision led to Defensores del Ángel Gris getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Nicolas Silveira hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Olof Sjöberg.
