With his leg Ariel Ponc managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arsenio Maria in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loco De la Maza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gianluca Vialli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ariel Ponc came out and tried to block the shot, but Gianluca Vialli slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Gianluca Vialli might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ariel Ponc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gianluca Vialli ran back to his position shaking his head. Gianluca Vialli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Ponc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Gianluca Vialli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gianluca Vialli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Ponc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Falckner FC's Julien Steuble managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Urbano Mendiko in the 41 minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, Gianluca Vialli made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Ponc. Villa Mitre City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.

Loco De la Maza came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Mitre City's Mauricio Macías. But to his dismay, Mauricio Macías quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Villa Mitre City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mauricio Macías in the 80th minute. In the 81st match minute, Villa Mitre City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Vialli in the 88th minute of play.
