The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baltazar de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Deilmison Yashin was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Wangui Mwangi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wangui Mwangi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Baltazar de Castro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Myles Ongao, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Deilmison Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samson Kalekye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Samson Kalekye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deilmison Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored U21 Kenya's protests and gave Moses Obala a yellow card for diving instead. Bernard Ngolepus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Birol Gezer hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the match U21 Kenya got a corner. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Myles Ongao ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Myles Ongao almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Deilmison Yashin did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Tinoco got free with Bernard Ngolepus in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented U21 Kenya from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
