Gil Motta started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tigers of Bistritsa's Radoslav Dzhangozov got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Marquinhos Schmidt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 4 played minutes Tigers of Bistritsa got a freekick which was hit by Nikolay Hambarski. 6 minutes into the game, Aílton Berger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vasco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigers of Bistritsa the free kick. If Marquinhos Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jairo Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jairo Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tigers of Bistritsa booed when Vasco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikolay Hambarski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wellington Barbosa. Vasco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Gabriel Mesquita during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Vasco FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Mesquita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asparuh Bubov in the 24th minute of play forced Vasco FC's goalkeeper Wellington Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Tigers of Bistritsa got a freekick which was hit by Nikolay Hambarski. Vasco FC's Aílton Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evstati Dokev was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Gil Motta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gil Motta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Asparuh Bubov to strike the kick off in the second half. Evstati Dokev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Evstati Dokev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Berger in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vasco FC's Durvalino Dracena got a free kick in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asparuh Bubov got free with Wellington Barbosa in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Asparuh Bubov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Asparuh Bubov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Barbosa having to interfere. Gil Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Asparuh Bubov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigers of Bistritsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Asparuh Bubov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wellington Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Petar Kralchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asparuh Bubov struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Wellington Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigers of Bistritsa.
