André Onana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 5 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Carlitos Tevez. André Onana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlitos Tevez in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes OldHighburyInvincibles got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Gabriele. Thiago Silvan might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Onana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thiago Silvan ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the OldHighburyInvincibles defense, Carlitos Tevez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Onana. The OldHighburyInvincibles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Onana should have stopped the shot. Carlo Taraborrelli charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlo Taraborrelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes OldHighburyInvincibles got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Taraborrelli. 17 minutes into the match, OldHighburyInvincibles's goalkeeper André Onana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlitos Tevez. In the 18th minute Gilvan Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Onana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Gilvan Chaves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Onana. OldHighburyInvincibles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilvan Chaves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a rather tough play, OldHighburyInvincibles's Carlo Taraborrelli got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlitos Tevez in the 27th minute of play forced OldHighburyInvincibles's goalkeeper André Onana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Taraborrelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Mazza having to interfere. Christian Petrocchi might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Mazza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Petrocchi ran back to his position shaking his head. Florian Paolucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Christian Petrocchi made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Carlitos Tevez notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of OldHighburyInvincibles's André Onana. André Onana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the game, Edoardo Gabriele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OldHighburyInvincibles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rockets the free kick. Edoardo Gabriele kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ronaldo Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Ronaldo Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Onana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ronaldo Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. OldHighburyInvincibles's André Onana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Gol in the 71st minute of play. In the 80th minute, Carlitos Tevez made a precise shot to the right of André Onana. OldHighburyInvincibles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When Toninho Terra fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rockets's protests and gave Toninho Terra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute Toninho Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Onana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes, Thiago Silvan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockets and the OldHighburyInvincibles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rockets walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
