When Carlo Taraborrelli fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OldHighburyInvincibles's protests and gave Carlo Taraborrelli a yellow card for diving instead. Carlo Taraborrelli kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Marquinhos Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Vasco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Veloso to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Gil Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vasco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

A collision led to OldHighburyInvincibles getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cosimo Tuzzolino hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Gil Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Onana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 56th minute when Gil Motta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Wellington Barbosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tiago Gabriel Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Onana having to interfere. Emerson Penha hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Marquinhos Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. André Onana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gil Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasco FC's Marquinhos Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Petrocchi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Wellington Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OldHighburyInvincibles. In the 86th minute, Aurelio Ferrante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, OldHighburyInvincibles's Carlo Taraborrelli got a free kick in the 91st minute. André Onana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Berger in the 93rd minute of play.
