Luís Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Jairo Saldanha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamílton Simão was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Futbol Club RRFV's Hamílton Simão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Futbol Club RRFV from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Hamílton Simão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duarte de Almeida. Dorival do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Luís Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club RRFV's zone, Jairo Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamílton Simão came out of the goal and Jairo Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, União dos 7 FC's Joel Ortiz got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the União dos 7 FC defense, Kauã Lira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Botelho. The União dos 7 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Botelho should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in União dos 7 FC's zone, César Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Botelho came out of the goal and César Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauã Lira was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, União dos 7 FC's Luís Botelho got control of the ball when Kauã Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 64 minutes of play, Futbol Club RRFV's Dorival do Vale made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Botelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! União dos 7 FC's Luís Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Lucas in the 76th minute of play. Luís Botelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Paulo Esteves in the 77th minute. Luís Botelho made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when César Brito sent off a good shot on target. Hamílton Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Ortiz in the 91st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Zé Paulo Esteves took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Luís Botelho to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute, Tiaguinho Lucas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Botelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Futbol Club RRFV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
