In the 6thth minute of the game Duarte de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Sportivo Italiano's Rafael Martino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Octavio Senio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Botelho. União dos 7 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavio Senio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. União dos 7 FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Leo Veronica scored to the left of an out of position Luís Botelho, making the score, 2-0. In the 16th match minute, Club Sportivo Italiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Veronica to maneuver through the defense. If Duarte de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Sportivo Italiano's Rafael Martino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte de Almeida in the 26th minute of play. The União dos 7 FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when União dos 7 FC's Duarte de Almeida looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Lidon in the 36th minute of play forced União dos 7 FC's goalkeeper Luís Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Veronica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Luís Botelho made a huge save. With a little luck, União dos 7 FC's Luís Botelho got control of the ball when Elvio Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Rafael Lidon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sportivo Italiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Lidon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Lidon in the 46th minute of play. Rafael Martino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Italiano's Segundo Urtun got a free kick in the 51st minute. Club Sportivo Italiano's Rafael Martino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportivo Italiano from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Elvio Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte de Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Rafael Martino made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Elvio Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Botelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. União dos 7 FC's Luís Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Senio in the 62nd minute of play. Duarte de Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Rafael Martino made a huge save. After a rather tough play, União dos 7 FC's Alexsandro Prestes got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute of the match, Duarte de Almeida got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafael Martino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Amadeo Oxel scored 6-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Botelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fermin Torres hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Club Sportivo Italiano's Fermin Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Botelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. After 86 minutes of play, Club Sportivo Italiano's Fermin Torres made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Botelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Botelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Torres went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Saldanha in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Martino saved Club Sportivo Italiano from getting behind. After a rather tough play, União dos 7 FC's Jairo Saldanha got a free kick in the 96th minute.
