But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiph Inzaghi couldn't finish the play. The supporters of OldHighburyInvincibles booed when Tigers of Bistritsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzvetan Stanchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiph Inzaghi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evstati Dokev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Evstati Dokev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiph Inzaghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, OldHighburyInvincibles's goalkeeper André Onana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yuli Blagiev. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tigers of Bistritsa's goalkeeper Evstati Dokev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

In the 53rd minute, Yuli Blagiev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tigers of Bistritsa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, OldHighburyInvincibles's Aurelio Ferrante got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Edoardo Gabriele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Yuli Blagiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evstati Dokev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiph Inzaghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Filiph Inzaghi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OldHighburyInvincibles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in OldHighburyInvincibles's zone, Petar Kralchev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Onana came out of the goal and Petar Kralchev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 played minutes OldHighburyInvincibles got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Ferrante. Yuli Blagiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Onana having to interfere. Amos Arcangeli hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute Filiph Inzaghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evstati Dokev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
