In the 3rd minute Laerte Toscano suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. AS Pikachuzim made a substitution. José Vítor Gaspar replaced Laerte Toscano. Jim Jennings hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor da Fonseca in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bradly Gray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Evandro Varela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bradly Gray was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of AS Pikachuzim booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denver Culver didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Victor da Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bradly Gray. New England Minas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor da Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Evandro Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to AS Pikachuzim getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. José Vítor Gaspar hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Keith Braxton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Basílio Trigo. The goal made the score 1-2. New England Minas's Bradly Gray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor da Fonseca in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, AS Pikachuzim's Victor da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bradly Gray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 33rd minute Victor da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradly Gray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Evandro Varela made a precise shot to the right of Bradly Gray. New England Minas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 45 minutes into the match, Victor da Fonseca notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of New England Minas's Bradly Gray. Bradly Gray was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victor da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The wind increased when Keith Braxton made the kick off in the second half. Bradly Gray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredão Meireles's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Victor da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Pikachuzim's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradly Gray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Victor da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as AS Pikachuzim's Evandro Varela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bradly Gray. That made the score 1-6 after 64 minutes of play. In the 68th minute, Evandro Varela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bradly Gray. The goal made the score 1-7. After a rather tough play, AS Pikachuzim's Evandro Varela got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 75 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Maia. New England Minas's Bradly Gray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Varela in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, AS Pikachuzim's Victor da Fonseca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bradly Gray. Bradly Gray yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. New England Minas's Bradly Gray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. Bradly Gray made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Victor da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Truman Baxter got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded AS Pikachuzim left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New England Minas.
