Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Andrézinho Sanches made the kick off which started today's match. If Jim Jennings had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 minutes of play, New England Minas's Keith Braxton made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Luiz Fábio Cavalcante came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Guapira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fábio Cavalcante couldn't finish the play. After 18 played minutes Guapira got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Sanches. Allan Lopez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keith Braxton went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Bradly Gray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Cavalcante in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Guapira got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Cavalcante. 30 minutes into the match, Guapira's goal looked a bit too open when Dwayne Clement came free, but Allan Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Ricardo Lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guapira and the New England Minas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Allan Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dwayne Clement, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from DeAngelo Petty in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute DeAngelo Petty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. New England Minas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Luiz Fábio Cavalcante scored to the left of an out of position Bradly Gray, making the score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dwayne Clement in the 42nd minute of play forced Guapira's goalkeeper Allan Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, DeAngelo Petty notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Guapira's Allan Lopez. Allan Lopez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Keith Braxton made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Célio Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guapira and the New England Minas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guapira! A collision led to Guapira getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Cavalcante hit a great ball. Allan Lopez came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Jim Jennings. But to his dismay, Jim Jennings quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 63 minutes into the match, Keith Braxton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Allan Lopez, 1-6. In the 69th minute DeAngelo Petty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Guapira's goalkeeper Allan Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by DeAngelo Petty. 78 minutes into the match, Guapira's goal looked a bit too open when DeAngelo Petty came free, but Allan Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Jennings's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Allan Lopez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bradly Gray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Vander in the 86th minute of play. After 86 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Brice Wang. The supporters of Guapira booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. DeAngelo Petty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bradly Gray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Cavalcante in the 93rd minute of play.
