When Alessandro Moraes fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reko-Recko 03™'s protests and gave Alessandro Moraes a yellow card for diving instead. Alessandro Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Reko-Recko 03™'s zone, Dudu Neļķis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo de Sena came out of the goal and Dudu Neļķis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Reko-Recko 03™ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Zézinho Paraense hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Pitta in the 13th minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Haroldo de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Bruno da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Haroldo de Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 17 minutes, Sem Do mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG and the Reko-Recko 03™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Sem Do hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo de Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dênis Gomes went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG booed when Reko-Recko 03™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reko-Recko 03™'s Haroldo de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Pitta in the 23rd minute of play. Haroldo de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Nogueira in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Dênis Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reko-Recko 03™'s Haroldo de Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dudu Neļķis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Haroldo de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Batista during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Júlio Batista got a free kick in the 35th minute. Haroldo de Sena came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Dudu Neļķis. But to his dismay, Dudu Neļķis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The Reko-Recko 03™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Elói Nogueira made the kick off in the second half. Zézinho Paraense's late challenge caught a TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zézinho Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Reko-Recko 03™ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Zézinho Paraense hit a great ball. Haroldo de Sena made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Elói Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. After 65 minutes, Elói Nogueira made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Reko-Recko 03™'s Haroldo de Sena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute of the match, Dênis Gomes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Haroldo de Sena was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Vivaldo Pitta was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dudu Neļķis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Haroldo de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 77th minute of the match Zézinho Paraense completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zézinho Paraense a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG booed when Reko-Recko 03™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisão Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Chaves in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Proença in the 89th minute of play forced TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's goalkeeper Luisão Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisão Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Proença in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Kader Picar got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Gal Van was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alessandro Moraes got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 97th minute, Alessandro Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Reko-Recko 03™.
