After 3 minutes, Marcelinho Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montesclarense E.C. and the Galo na Veia FC™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Magalhães. In the 4th minute of the match Alberto Negri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Monteiro skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kiko Martins in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Monteiro saved Montesclarense E.C. from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Kiko Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Monteiro was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Dráuzio Tepedino charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Tepedino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Dráuzio Tepedino hit a great ball. Luiz Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Kiko Martins sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Renato Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Galo na Veia FC™'s Luiz Monteiro threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kiko Martins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Sidney Schmidt fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montesclarense E.C.'s protests and gave Sidney Schmidt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Sidney Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chiquinho de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With his leg Luiz Monteiro managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Galo na Veia FC™'s Kiko Martins fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 39th minute, Yuri Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Marcelinho Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes, Luiz Cavalcante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montesclarense E.C. and the Galo na Veia FC™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Montesclarense E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galo na Veia FC™ the free kick. Chiquinho de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kiko Martins was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galo na Veia FC™'s Renato Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chiquinho de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Kauan Guerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesclarense E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galo na Veia FC™ the free kick. The supporters of Galo na Veia FC™ booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Kiko Martins sped through Montesclarense E.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luiz Monteiro. When Galo na Veia FC™'s Kiko Martins in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montesclarense E.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Yuri Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiko Martins's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquinho de Lima got free with Elói Medeiros in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Monteiro came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo na Veia FC™'s Yuri Queiroz. But to his dismay, Yuri Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Luiz Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kiko Martins went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Galo na Veia FC™'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
