After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Vavá Recko got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Vítor Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reko-Recko 03™'s Haroldo de Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Reko-Recko 03™ booed when EoDu Uai Sôccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Walmyr Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo de Sena came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by EoDu Uai Sôccer's Vítor Simão. But to his dismay, Vítor Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to EoDu Uai Sôccer getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Isaltino Vargas hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes Eliézer Cerezo rounded EoDu Uai Sôccer's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper Orlando Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walmyr Proença. Haroldo de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35thth minute of the game Vítor Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reko-Recko 03™'s Haroldo de Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Zézinho Paraense notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of EoDu Uai Sôccer's Orlando Guimarães. Orlando Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd match minute, Reko-Recko 03™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Chaves to maneuver through the defense. EoDu Uai Sôccer's Orlando Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save EoDu Uai Sôccer from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walmyr Proença made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Cerezo in the 51st minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper Orlando Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Simão in the 54th minute of play. Reko-Recko 03™'s Haroldo de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Reko-Recko 03™ from getting a goal against them. Reko-Recko 03™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EoDu Uai Sôccer the free kick. 78 minutes into the match, Paulinho Chaves notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of EoDu Uai Sôccer's Orlando Guimarães. In the 97th minute of the match Joaquim Pereira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo de Sena skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans cheered their team off the field, for while EoDu Uai Sôccer had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
