Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dadá Torres took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Claudinei do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winford Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tod Mosley charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tod Mosley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 9 minutes into the match, Cristian Bittencourt notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of New England Minas's Winford Taylor. Winford Taylor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod Mosley in the 12th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Claudinho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Bittencourt in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Winford Taylor saved New England Minas from getting behind. In the 17th minute, AS Pikachuzim's Gildo da Fonseca seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gildo da Fonseca the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AS Pikachuzim protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gildo da Fonseca had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 18 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Gildo da Fonseca. In the 18th minute, Gildo da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes, New England Minas's Mario Hayes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudinho Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in New England Minas reached it. After 21 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Bittencourt. In the 30th minute, AS Pikachuzim's Cristian Bittencourt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With a little luck, New England Minas's Winford Taylor got control of the ball when Dadá Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Winford Taylor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dadá Torres in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Carneiro. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tod Mosley made the kick off in the second half. Winford Taylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Cristian Bittencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Winford Taylor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. New England Minas's Winford Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor da Fonseca in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to AS Pikachuzim getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Luizão Fontes hit a great ball. A hard shot by Hans Morrow from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Claudinho Moura's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When AS Pikachuzim's Victor da Fonseca in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New England Minas's goalie prevented a goal. Winford Taylor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor da Fonseca went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Winford Taylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Aílton Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Winford Taylor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Torres in the 79th minute of play. When Dadá Torres came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the AS Pikachuzim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dadá Torres couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Bittencourt came free, but Winford Taylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dadá Torres came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the AS Pikachuzim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dadá Torres couldn't finish the play. Winford Taylor came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Pikachuzim's Victor da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Victor da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. New England Minas's Winford Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Torres in the 93rd minute of play. During the 94th minute of the match Tod Mosley completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tod Mosley a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tod Mosley hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Cristian Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winford Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AS Pikachuzim's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
