Victor da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Remo da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Victor da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the AS Pikachuzim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the game, AS Pikachuzim's Cristian Bittencourt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remo da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Remo da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dadá Torres's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Remo da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Bittencourt in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Bittencourt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remo da Costa. The goal made the score 3-0. 37 minutes into the match, Cristian Bittencourt notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of S S Palestra Italia's Remo da Costa. Remo da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 47 minutes in the game, Victor da Fonseca fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Remo da Costa having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Paulo da Mata was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Bittencourt in the 53rd minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Remo da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Cristian Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remo da Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dadá Torres went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 65 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Gildo da Fonseca. A collision led to AS Pikachuzim getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Aílton Carneiro hit a great ball. S S Palestra Italia's Miguel Donatello got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Dadá Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rômulo Macedo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes S S Palestra Italia got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Macedo. 72 minutes into the game, AS Pikachuzim's Dadá Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remo da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gil Vale was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AS Pikachuzim's Gil Vale got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Dadá Torres sped through S S Palestra Italia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Remo da Costa. Remo da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá Torres in the 90th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on AS Pikachuzim's corner Luizão Fontes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Remo da Costa quite easily take care of the ball. Dadá Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Remo da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AS Pikachuzim's Dadá Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When AS Pikachuzim's Dadá Torres in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S S Palestra Italia's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AS Pikachuzim fully deserved thier win.
