Tod Mosley was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 81 minutes into the match Tobias Herrington climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-4 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Luiz Monteiro. Tod Mosley scored 1-5 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 minutes, Baltazar Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montesclarense E.C. and the New England Minas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baltazar Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. New England Minas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
