Allan Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho de Lima in the 58th minute of the match. After 60 minutes, Andrézinho Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C T Futebol Clube and the Montesclarense E.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. 63 minutes into the match, Flávio Vander notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Monteiro. Luiz Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 67 played minutes C T Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Sanches. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Cavalcante in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 85th minute, Baltazar Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Lopez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Chiquinho de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, C T Futebol Clube could leave the field as winners, despite Montesclarense E.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
