In the 10th minute, Dadá Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisão Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Dudu Neļķis got a free kick in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Dadá Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisão Simões was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Claudinho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Dadá Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Cristian Bittencourt made a precise shot to the right of Luisão Simões. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Claudinho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Neļķis in the 25th minute of play. Giovanni Simões hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dadá Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Luisão Simões got control of the ball when Dadá Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Bittencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Bittencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, AS Pikachuzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, Laerte Toscano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luisão Simões. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Luisão Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Torres in the 76th minute of play. Luisão Simões came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Pikachuzim's Dadá Torres. But to his dismay, Dadá Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Dadá Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Luisão Simões made a huge save. Dadá Torres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luisão Simões came out and tried to block the shot, but Dadá Torres slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Dadá Torres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Pikachuzim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 87th minute, Dadá Torres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luisão Simões. The goal made the score 0-7. Luisão Simões was a little too slow when Victor da Fonseca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-8. The AS Pikachuzim supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AS Pikachuzim would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
