Haroldo de Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrézinho Sanches in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Faria in the 5th minute of play forced C T Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Allan Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Reko-Recko 03™'s Haroldo de Sena got control of the ball when Andrézinho Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zézinho Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Reko-Recko 03™'s zone, Luiz Fábio Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo de Sena came out of the goal and Luiz Fábio Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haroldo de Sena made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Andrézinho Sanches sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Reko-Recko 03™ got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Faria. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Vander in the 22nd minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Haroldo de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of C T Futebol Clube booed when Reko-Recko 03™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vavá Recko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tostão Arruda charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tostão Arruda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Reko-Recko 03™ got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Arruda. Reko-Recko 03™'s Haroldo de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Reko-Recko 03™ from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Tostão Arruda made a precise shot to the right of Allan Lopez. C T Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Haroldo de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Paulinho Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reko-Recko 03™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrézinho Sanches's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Haroldo de Sena firmly grabbed it by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrézinho Sanches to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Odd Van got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Paulinho Chaves came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Reko-Recko 03™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulinho Chaves couldn't finish the play. Allan Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, C T Futebol Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eliézer Cerezo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Andrézinho Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Alessandro Moraes got a free kick in the 64th minute. Allan Lopez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vavá Recko in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Luiz Fábio Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Lopez made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Marcos Faria sent off a good shot on target. Haroldo de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C T Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Tostão Arruda scored to the left of an out of position Allan Lopez, making the score, 0-2. Allan Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Cerezo in the 83rd minute of the match. Vavá Recko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Lopez having to interfere. Henrique Teixeira hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The C T Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Reko-Recko 03™'s performance. The match ended with a win for Reko-Recko 03™.
