Nelson Valladares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kléber Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Goth Cloudy Experience's goalkeeper Kléber Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelson Valladares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Queiroz in the 20th minute of play forced Goth Cloudy Experience's goalkeeper Kléber Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elói Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 27 minutes, Yuri Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo na Veia FC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elói Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 30 played minutes Goth Cloudy Experience got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Vaz. Lino Maranhense scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elói Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Maranhense during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lino Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Valladares. Kiko Martinss short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Kléber Motta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 45th minute, Anísio Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Alberto Negri in the 46th minute really tested Kléber Motta's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After the first half Goth Cloudy Experience were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pedrinho Velloso hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Elói Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Maranhense in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Galo na Veia FC™'s Kiko Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kléber Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kléber Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiko Martins's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Ramalho in the 67th minute of play forced Goth Cloudy Experience's goalkeeper Kléber Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Goth Cloudy Experience was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Furlan to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute of the match Alberto Negri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kléber Motta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee ignored Goth Cloudy Experience's protests and gave Rômulo Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, one of Goth Cloudy Experience:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Goth Cloudy Experience. The referee gave Galo na Veia FC™ a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alberto Negri, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Goth Cloudy Experience's Kléber Motta. 3-1. A collision led to Goth Cloudy Experience getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Víktor Castro hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Galo na Veia FC™ had won after a very even match.
