Kjell-Arne Skott started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ronnys Lärjungar's zone, Stig Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin Bruhn came out of the goal and Stig Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emil Hafström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Ahlrot in the 6th minute of play. With an all-out effort, The Northmen Army's Edvin Bruhn threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vilhelm Mjølner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edvin Bruhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Mjølner, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Emil Hafström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Ahlrot in the 15th minute of play. Edvin Bruhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Lindqvist in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Pål Wiklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes Ronnys Lärjungar got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Ahlrot. Ronnys Lärjungar's Edvin Bruhn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Wiklund in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Pål Wiklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ronnys Lärjungar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcus Mjølner was slow to take the kick. During this time The Northmen Army's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Marcus Mjølner got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edvin Bruhn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 42nd minute Patrik Ahlrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Edvin Bruhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, The Northmen Army's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Beck came free, but Emil Hafström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vilhelm Mjølner was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ronnys Lärjungar's zone, Jack Lundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin Bruhn came out of the goal and Jack Lundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvin Bruhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Northmen Army made a substitution. Kent Sandström replaced Pål Wiklund. The Northmen Army's Alex Lidberg was substituted for Stig Lindqvist. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when The Northmen Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnys Lärjungar's Sverker Björk was substituted for Tommy Beck. Edvin Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Mjølner in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Mjølner in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvin Bruhn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrik Ahlrot might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Hafström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Ahlrot ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, The Northmen Army's Emil Hafström got control of the ball when Patrik Ahlrot tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the The Northmen Army defense, Patrik Ahlrot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Hafström. The The Northmen Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Hafström should have stopped the shot. Emil Hafström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Broberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ronnys Lärjungar were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after The Northmen Army's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrik Ahlrot took the corner. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ronnys Lärjungar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
