The audience thought a goal was coming when Joeri Buys got free with Marian Brodzki in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christijan van Asseldonk in the 34th minute of play forced Fragmenty Nietoperzy's goalkeeper Marian Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Brodzki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fragmenty Nietoperzy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albertus FC the free kick. In the 79th minute, Danny Scheer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Albertus FC.
