The referee ignored FC Bullen's protests and gave Anthon Åberg a yellow card for diving instead. Szczakowianka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Jack Olsmann scored to the left of an out of position Maksymilian Bury, making the score, 1-3. In the 44th minute, Harry Gullesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Szczakowianka were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC Bullen's Staffan Julin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Haszczak in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Olsmann came free, but Maksymilian Bury reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Maciej Haszczak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Staffan Julin. Maciej Haszczak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. FC Bullen made a substitution. Jon Broberg replaced Gunnar Hökkvist. In the 78th minute, Maciej Haszczak made a precise shot to the right of Staffan Julin. FC Bullen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Ivar Holm's late challenge caught a Szczakowianka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
