Trond Traband's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberd Valentík read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Adelmo Garfias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFK Petržalka the free kick. After a rather tough play, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Adelmo Garfias got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of AFK Petržalka booed when SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelmo Garfias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matej Valentík to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Isaiás Millas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Peter Hvižďák hit a great ball. Isaiás Millas struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Norberd Valentík didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT. After 34 minutes of play, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Victor Hugo Marchena made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberd Valentík was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Záhoran came free, but Juan Jesus Heyboer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Roland Záhoran came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Záhoran couldn't finish the play. Matej Valentík's late challenge caught a SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matej Valentík helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Matej Valentík. 47 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Ondino Giron came free, but Norberd Valentík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaiás Millas was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Záhoran in the 53rd minute of play forced SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's goalkeeper Juan Jesus Heyboer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Norberd Valentík threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isaiás Millas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Juan Jesus Heyboer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Záhoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberd Valentík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaiás Millas in the 59th minute of play. Victor Hugo Marchena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Girman didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFK Petržalka's Lukáš Gernát was substituted for Matej Valentík. Ivan Girman hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Ivan Girman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Isaiás Millas came free, but Norberd Valentík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Juan Jesus Heyboer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Záhoran in the 81st minute of play. When Zdeno Špaňo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFK Petržalka's protests and gave Zdeno Špaňo a yellow card for diving instead. Zdeno Špaňo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Isaiás Millas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberd Valentík having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Jesus Heyboer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
