Saronida FC's Aimilios Trigonakis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonio Cabrini, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Fan Xi Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Heinz Schneider's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Karl-Heinz Schneider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fan Xi Hong. Squadra de Pippe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Heinz Schneider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lukasz Rukszcz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurențiu Susara having to interfere. If Karl-Heinz Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Bosco kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Lukasz Rukszcz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Laurențiu Susara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fan Xi Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Schneider in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's goalkeeper Laurențiu Susara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lukasz Rukszcz. In the 27thth minute of the game Karl-Heinz Schneider who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra de Pippe's Fan Xi Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saronida FC were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Squadra de Pippe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stelios Skountouflas took the corner. Fabio Bosco struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Laurențiu Susara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Squadra de Pippe. A sloppy throw-in by Karmel Gian in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Squadra de Pippe's Fabio Bosco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Rukszcz in the 36th minute of play forced Saronida FC's goalkeeper Laurențiu Susara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Karl-Heinz Schneider made a precise shot to the right of Fan Xi Hong. Squadra de Pippe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 40th minute, Eleftherios Vasdekis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fan Xi Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Schneider in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Karl-Heinz Schneider who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra de Pippe's Fan Xi Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lukasz Rukszcz took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurențiu Susara. Laurențiu Susara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 56 played minutes Saronida FC got a freekick which was hit by Egil Siöberg. After a rather tough play, Saronida FC's Egil Siöberg got a free kick in the 57th minute. Laurențiu Susara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislovas Skripkauskas in the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Squadra de Pippe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Porta to maneuver through the defense. Saronida FC's Veniamin Zisimopoulos was substituted for Aimilios Trigonakis. Emilio Porta hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Squadra de Pippe's Fan Xi Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Squadra de Pippe from getting a goal against them. Fan Xi Hong made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Karl-Heinz Schneider sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goal looked a bit too open when Veniamin Zisimopoulos came free, but Fan Xi Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Heinz Schneider got free with Fan Xi Hong in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lukasz Rukszcz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laurențiu Susara having to make a save. With a little luck, Squadra de Pippe's Fan Xi Hong got control of the ball when Egil Siöberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Saronida FC defense, Lukasz Rukszcz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laurențiu Susara. The Saronida FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurențiu Susara should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Egil Siöberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fan Xi Hong. Squadra de Pippe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egil Siöberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. When Squadra de Pippe's Lukasz Rukszcz in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
