Alisson Becker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baal Ares in the 8th minute of play forced Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goalkeeper Alisson Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Baal Ares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ares FC -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Karadeniz Otay hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Tilemachos Romanidis came free, but Luca Jivulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ares FC -MM- defense, Tilemachos Romanidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luca Jivulescu. The Ares FC -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luca Jivulescu should have stopped the shot. Luca Jivulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Zawacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Jivulescu made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tilemachos Romanidis sent off a good shot on target. Dominik Zawacki might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luca Jivulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominik Zawacki ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tilemachos Romanidis in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luca Jivulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Jessy Fux got a free kick in the 38th minute. Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baal Ares, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Luca Jivulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tilemachos Romanidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Jivulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Zawacki in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tilemachos Romanidis was the one to do the kick off. Luca Jivulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tilemachos Romanidis in the 53rd minute of play. Luca Jivulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tilemachos Romanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 86th minute Marinos Sidiropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Jivulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. YNWA got a corner. Ares FC -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tytus Lichucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Tytus Lichucki to fire away a dangerous shot which Luca Jivulescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Marinos Sidiropoulos in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ares FC -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 2-2. Extra-time would have to be played.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares started the play with the initial kick off. The supporters of Liverpool F.C. YNWA booed when Ares FC -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucrețiu Cuculeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 100th minute, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Marinos Sidiropoulos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Liverpool F.C. YNWA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
