Dani Cochrane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Australian Youth Academy's Dani Cochrane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson de Carvalho in the 34th minute of play. Dani Cochrane made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Jailson de Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. The nice shot from Jailson de Carvalho in the 37thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Dani Cochrane had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Dani Cochrane made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Jailson de Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. Neville Wal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro de Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Paulo Renato Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dani Cochrane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jailson de Carvalho was the one to do the kick off. Deivid Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's Herman Heberle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Neville Wal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Mauro de Salles made a huge save. Australian Youth Academy's Dani Cochrane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson de Carvalho in the 84th minute of play. Mauro de Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neville Wal in the 90th minute. Dani Cochrane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Jamie Baba hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.

Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
