Armando Matia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peder Ferro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. Warren FC - DMZ made a substitution. Cleiton Duarte replaced Giorgian Arrascaeta. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Inter Miami CF. Andy Johnson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernardo Moreira. 1-0. Armando Matia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Bermudo's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ladislao Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warren FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Matia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ladislao Bermudo sped through Inter Miami CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Matia. Ladislao Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Matia having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Hector Eskuin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Armando Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes Inter Miami CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hélio Nascimento who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Warren FC - DMZ's Carlinhos Cerezo got a free kick in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Warren FC - DMZ's Ladislao Bermudo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Matia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After the first half Warren FC - DMZ were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ladislao Bermudo made the kick off in the second half. Carlinhos Cerezo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Bermudo got free with Armando Matia in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Hector Eskuin. Ladislao Bermudo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Armando Matia made a huge save. Elano Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Matia having to interfere. Warren FC - DMZ made a substitution. Fellipe Machado replaced Hélio Nascimento. Ladislao Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Matia having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Armando Matia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Bermudo. Ladislao Bermudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Matia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Ladislao Bermudos short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Armando Matia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 84th play minute Ladislao Bermudo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Armando Matia. 1-6. Ladislao Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Gervasio Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Bermudo in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Warren FC - DMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Inter Miami CF throughout the match.
