The corner led Ezber Bozan FK's Bahattin Pektürk to fire away a dangerous shot which Edmundo de Toledo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvise Nasuti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmundo de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Nasuti in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Ezber Bozan FK's Alvise Nasuti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmundo de Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenik de Vos in the 44th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Félix to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jan-Ove Gustavsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Alvise Nasuti made a precise shot to the right of Edmundo de Toledo. Buritama Sports's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bastian Schweinsteiger during the 56th minute. Edmundo de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Nasuti in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Ezber Bozan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Nasuti didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo got control of the ball when Bastian Schweinsteiger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ezber Bozan FK's Rafa Marin was substituted for Desmond Hume. A sloppy throw-in by Toninho Freitas in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ezber Bozan FK's Bastian Schweinsteiger. Edmundo de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Onur Ali Şen in the 89th minute. Ezber Bozan FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
