Hoàng Lam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, Mario Jesus Jardel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hoàng Lam. Minh City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Jesus Jardel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. If Lê Anh Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Jesus Jardel in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hoàng Lam saved Minh City FC from getting behind. Mario Jesus Jardel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hoàng Lam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Jesus Jardel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68thth minute of the game Claudinei Tasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minh City FC's Hoàng Lam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barry Gunn got free with Hoàng Lam in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the game, Lê Mai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minh City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Portugália the free kick. A collision led to Minh City FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lê Mai hit a great ball. If Barry Gunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hoàng Lam made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Barry Gunn sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Minh City FC's zone, Barry Gunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hoàng Lam came out of the goal and Barry Gunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trần Thai made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Đoàn Thuyet immediately put the ball in play. 81 minutes into the game, CA Portugália's Barry Gunn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hoàng Lam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Hoàng Lam was a little too slow when Barry Gunn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-9. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barry Gunn in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hoàng Lam saved Minh City FC from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's Barry Gunn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hoàng Lam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over CA Portugália could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Minh City FC throughout the match.
