In the 20th minute Bulut İrgun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Roy Huston made a precise shot to the right of Hakkı Onur Rakim. BEŞİKTAŞK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Hakkı Onur Rakim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrad Carrington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Bulut İrgun came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Ángel Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkan İldeniz in the 35th minute of the match. Miguel Ángel Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkan İldeniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. BEŞİKTAŞK's Hakkı Onur Rakim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save BEŞİKTAŞK from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bulut İrgun made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Roy Huston made a precise shot to the right of Hakkı Onur Rakim. BEŞİKTAŞK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kubilay Sefik during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Roy Huston managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Huston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hakkı Onur Rakim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BEŞİKTAŞK's Kubilay Sefik got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Kubilay Sefik off the ground. In the 81st minute, Kubilay Sefik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hakkı Onur Rakim came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Independiente's Roy Huston. But to his dismay, Roy Huston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C. A. Independiente had won after a very even match.
