After 5 minutes Tabossi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caetano Saad who took care of the corner kick. 12 minutes into the match, Tabossi's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Iigo came free, but Thiago Volpi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Volpi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udo Nigula in the 14th minute of play. Thiago Volpi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Iigo's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Emil Fărcășan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the CE LAJEADENSE RS defense, Hugo Casomiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theobald Manjon. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theobald Manjon should have stopped the shot. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Theobald Manjon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Ganix in the 21st minute of play. Tabossi's Kong Yi Xiang got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thiago Volpi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Iigo in the 30th minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Theobald Manjon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Ganix in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Tabossi booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Iigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hugo Casomiro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Theobald Manjon was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Thiago Volpi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Iigo in the 36th minute of play. With an all-out effort, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Thiago Volpi threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Udo Nigula, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 42 minutes Tabossi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caetano Saad who took care of the corner kick. 46 minutes into the game, Ye Xiang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CE LAJEADENSE RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabossi the free kick. 48 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Casomiro came free, but Theobald Manjon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The CE LAJEADENSE RS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tabossi were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Casomiro was the one to do the kick off. Tadeo Eneas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Theobald Manjon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Ganix in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Theobald Manjon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Eneas got free with Theobald Manjon in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Leo Iigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Volpi was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 56thth minute of the game Leo Iigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabossi's Thiago Volpi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 57 minutes Tabossi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caetano Saad who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Caetano Saad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tabossi's Thiago Volpi did a great save. Thiago Volpi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Udo Nigula in the 60th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Udo Nigula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Volpi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Afonso Tremura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Theobald Manjon made a huge save. After 65 minutes, Emil Fărcășan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CE LAJEADENSE RS and the Tabossi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Emil Fărcășan hit a great ball. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Leonel Martins replaced Jorge Pires. Leonel Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Leo Iigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Tabossi's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Iigo came free, but Thiago Volpi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Theobald Manjon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Brun in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Brun in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theobald Manjon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tabossi's attentive Isaac Beremundo managed to snatch the ball when Leonel Martins made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Tabossi's Thiago Volpi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udo Nigula in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Leo Iigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Volpi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 86 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Theobald Manjon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Brun. Simon Brun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Theobald Manjon made a huge save. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 2-2. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was CE LAJEADENSE RS's Leo Iigo that got to make the kick off.
